Account settings:

Account information can not be edited during 2020-06-03 20:00:00 to 2020-06-05 08:00:00(GMT) due to system upgrading. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

To build trust and make it easier for other members to contact you, we do not allow sellers to hide contact information displayed on the Minisite. Only buyers are able to hide contact details while posting buying request.

But you can hide contact information in Message & Contacts. To check the detailed function, please visit Privacy Settings.

Contact information can be updated by doing the following steps:
1. Sign in to My Ecokarahttps://……./
2. Click “Member Profile” in the “Account ” section and click “Edit”
3. Get the Verification Code and input it (Code will be sent to your register email or secure mobile if you bound account with the mobile)

4. Modify your information and click submit button when completed. System will update within 24 hours.

Register and login:

To login to Ecokara with your mobile number, you must first add your mobile number to your account. Please click here to learn how to bind your account with your mobile number.

If you have bound mobile number, please follow the below steps to open mobile login function.

1. Login to your Ecokara account at www.ecokara.com

2. Click【My Ecokara】—【Account】—【Activate Mobile Number Sign in】

Tips:

If your mobile number is tied to another Ecokara Group account, such as a Taobao, Alipay or Tmall account, it cannot be used as a login number for your Alibaba.com account. Please provide another number.

Only one Ecokara.com account can be tied to a mobile number. If your number is already in use, it must be released from another account before you can use it to login.

If you cannot sign in to your Ecokara account, here are some suggestions:
1. Please ensure you have entered the correct registered email address and password.
2. As the password is case sensitive, please check if ‘Caps Lock’ on your keyboard is on.
3. Please also make sure you don’t enter blank spaces before and after your password.
4. Please change your internet browser. We recommend using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
5. Please delete the cookies in your computer.
6. Please try closing your anti-virus software to see if this solves the problem.

Please try again, and pay attention to the following:

1. Use your registered email address and password to sign in.
2. Don’t type with “Caps Lock” on, as passwords are case sensitive.
3. Do not include blank spaces before or after your password.
4. To avoid possible errors with cookies, please clear the cookies in your browser.
5. Please make sure that you changed password successfully and type in the latest password.

To register an account on Ecokara , please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Login page, click Join Free to register an account.

2. Enter your email address, tick the Agreement and Next.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to your mailbox. Please click the link in the email and fill in all the required information.

If you do not have a business, you can fill the “Company name” field with your name.

 

If you misspelled the email address during registration, please contact our Customer Service Team with correct email address so we could replace the incorrect one for you.

Note: Please ensure the correct email address provided has not been used for any other account under Ecokara Group, since one email address can only be used for one single account.

Password on Ecokara should meet the requirements below:
1. 6-20 characters
2. Only letters, numbers and punctuation marks (except spaces)
3. Among uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation, at least 2 types included.

Tips on creating a secure password for reference:
1. Use a combination of letters and numbers – e.g. beatlesfan28, with no spaces
2. Use multiple words without spaces – e.g. thebestboss
3. Never use single words that can be found in any dictionary – e.g. manager or bamboo
4. Never use personal information that others can easily obtain or guess – e.g. your namephone number, or birth date
5. Never use your email address as a password
6. Never use common passwords – e.g. 123456 or ABCDEF

Yes. You can register an account without a phone number. Only email address is a must to register an account on Ecokara.
But a valid phone number will help your potential business partners to reach you more efficiently. Therefore, you’re suggested to enter your phone number when registering. Also, please rest assured the information will be kept confidential.

I have forgotten my registered email address or Member ID

If you are a free member and you have a profile listed on Ecokara, you can find your profile listed like this: http://………………../, so your member ID will be: uk1001628936. Every free member will have a unique member ID.

If you don’t have a profile on Ecokara, please check all your possible email addresses to locate the registered email. Log in to your emails to see if you have received some system emails from Ecokara. If yes, you may use that email to try to login into Ecokara.

Function “Verify Email Address” is to confirm validation of your email address and maximize your trading opportunity on Ecokara .

If you have not verify yet, here will be notification in My Ecokara as below:

Click “Confirm Your Email Address now” and here will be an email to your registered email address. Please check your inbox (or Spam folder) to confirm your email address and follow the instructions given.

Then please check your email address and click “Confirm Email Address” button on the verification email. After that, the notice will be shown: “Congratulations! You have successfully confirmed your email.

If you have not received the confirmation email in the Inbox, please double check in your Spam folder. Otherwise, please click “Resend Confirmation Email” to resend the confirmation email. Or you may click “Change Email Address” button to change a new email address.

If here is still any problem in receiving the confirmation email, please seek help from Alibaba.com Customer Service.

If you forgot your password, you could try to retrieve password by following below steps:
1. Click “Forgot Password” on the Sign In page.

2. Fill in your registered email address, scratch out two chickens and click ‘Submit’.

3. There are 4 options for you to verify your account first . “By Phone Verification”(only available if you have bound your mobile phone number to your account) “.

  • “By Phone Verification”(only available if you have bound your mobile phone number to your account) “.

  • “By Email Verification”, The first verification code will be sent to your registered email address automatically, please check. If you didn’t receive the code within 15 minutes, please click “Click here to receive verification code” to get the verification code again. The verification code is only valid for 15 minutes after you clicked the button. Also, please do not repeatedly click.

  • “By Answering questions” means you set up some questions before which can help you reset your password.

4. Once received the code and enter it or you answer the questions correctly. you’ll be directed to the password reset page. Follow the instructions to reset.

Note: The process for phone verification is the same as that of email verification.

If you cannot sign in to your Ecokara account, here are some suggestions:
1. Please ensure you have entered the correct registered email address and password.
2. As the password is case sensitive, please check if ‘Caps Lock’ on your keyboard is on.

You can also try to retrieve your password to see if it can resolve this sign-in issue.

Resources:

If you can’t find supplier you have previously done business with on Ecokara, possible reasons are as follow:
– Their account was deactivated by themselves or by Ecokara due to some reasons;
– Their Gold Supplier Membership expired

You may contact them with the contact information you’ve already had or check with Ecokara Customer Service for further information about them.

It is free of charge.

Net Weight (Actual Net Weight) is the weight of the goods alone without any immediate wrappings;

e.g., the weight of the contents of a tin can without the weight of the can.

Consular Invoice – A document required by some countries describing a shipment of goods and showing information such as the consignor, consignee, and value of the shipment. Certified by a consular official, a consular invoice is used by the country’s customs officials to verify the value, quantity, and nature of the shipment.

An Export License is a document secured from a government, authorizing a shipper to export a specific quantity of a particular commodity to a certain country.

An export license is often required when a government places restrictions upon exports.

It’s necessary to have the export license if you want to export out of your own country.

Ecokara is a business to business trading platform for buyers and suppliers to exchange business information.

Most of the members on Alibaba.com are manufacturers, trading companies, or resellers who trade in large quantity order.

As you know, the product price/shipping cost are mainly based on purchase quantity and shipping methods.

Therefore, you are suggested to contact the specific supplier to check and negotiate the price and other details, such as MOQ, shipping cost for the product that you are interested in.

When using the search bar, you can try the following Search Tips:

1. If the results are unsatisfactory, reduce the number of words in your search (e.g., “bicycle framework” instead of “carbon bicycle frame work”).

2. Avoid keywords that are too specific or specialized (e.g., “4X4 Honda ATV”).

3. Only search for one product at a time.

4. Don’t include a country/region’s name in your search (e.g., “shoe China”). Instead, select it in the “Refine Search” box.

5. Don’t include words like “buyer” or “seller” in your keyword phrase (e.g., “shoe buyer”).

6. Use quotation marks (” “) for exact results (e.g., “ac adapter”).

7. If the results are unsatisfactory, try again without quotation marks (e.g., ac adapter).

There are two methods to delete products/suppliers from “My Favorites”:

1.Tick the product at the left side of the product picture and then select delete button to delete it.

2.Hover the mouse on the product and then you will see delete button at the right side of the product to delete it.

To search for buyers on Ecokara, you could search the related RFQs about your products, find the appropriate RFQ and click Quote Now to send quotations to buyers if you are qualified.

You can add up to 1,000 products to My Favorites. If you have already reached the limit, you can delete some old items which have already been expired.

There are mainly three methods to find products on Ecokara:
1) Search with keywords;

2) Search with images;

3) Post RFQ;

Method 1: Search with keywords.

Go to Ecokara , enter keywords to search for the products/suppliers you want.

Click here to search for Verified Suppliers – supplier’s company profile, production capabilities, products and process controls have to be inspected by independent third party institutions to assure reputable and consistent expertise on Ecokara.

Method 2: Search with images;

Go to Ecokara , click the camera icon, then click “Upload Image” as below to search for the products you want with existing product images.

Note: Image size is maximum 5MB.

Method 3: Post RFQ.
Post an RFQ specifying your sourcing needs, and you may receive matching quotes from different suppliers. With RFQ, you can:
1. Get quotes for your custom request
2. Let the right suppliers find you
3. Close deals with one click

In addition, if you have found suppliers in China and want to learn more information and background about the suppliers, you could get supplier reports here. You may search the relevant supplier by their names and get the verified data you need to make better business decisions.

As a business to business trading platform for buyers and suppliers to exchange business information, we can hardly judge which kind of suppliers are the best. Each supplier is unique and professional in their own fields. To be honest, there is no “best” supplier and only the one fits your requirements well is the best. Hence we are unable to recommend any supplier for you.

If your RFQ has been approved, it will be posted in our RFQ. Sellers will search the RFQ and contact you directly.

Your Buyer Profile includes your company background, contact details and sourcing preferences. Our data shows that buyers with a detailed Buyer Profile will:

Ø receive twice as many quotations as buyers without a Buyer Profile

Ø get quotations twice as fast as buyers without a Buyer Profile

Your profile is only visible to selected suppliers that match your sourcing needs.

Please follow below steps to send inquiry for interested products:

1. Click Contact Supplier button on the product detail page

2. Specify the information which you want to check, such as product price, shipping cost, delivery time etc. Then click Send inquiry now.

To close an RFQ, please follow below steps:

1.Sign in My Alibaba Message Center; Click the drop down button and switch to RFQ.

2.Find the RFQ you want to close;

3.You may “Close” the RFQ as it showed in the screenshot. ( If it is an expired RFQ, you cannot find the Close button, the supplier will not see it either)

Normally the Buying Request will get approved within 24 hours. Upon approval, it will be published online within 24 hours. Please wait patiently.

Pin to Top/Delete the conversation
Please slide the conversation to the left, then click “Pin” /”Delete” button.

Mute notifications/Block the conversation
Please slide the conversation to the left, then click “。。。” — “Mute notifications” or “Block” button.

Search messages or contacts
You could search the messages or contacts in the top search bar.

Please be advised that Alibaba.com has combined RFQ with Message Center recently. To edit your RFQ, you could take the below steps:

1. Please sign into My Ecokara

2. Kindly click on Message Center;

3. Find the RFQ you want to edit under “RFQ” folder

4. Click on “Edit” at the upper right corner of the RFQ detail page

Every message that you send is listed as an inquiry conversation. You can sign into the Message Center to view the messages you have sent to the supplier.

Ecokara will send you a notification email when you receive a new message from a supplier. You can also check your received messages in Message Center. Simply sign in to Messages & Contacts to check all the messages that have been sent to you.

 

 

To be eligible to respond to Buying Requests, the supplier must be a Gold Supplier or Verified Member who does not have a reported history of violating Ecokara rules and policies or a history of complaints made by other members of Alibaba.com or any other third-party in the last 6 months.

Please make sure you have included detailed requirements in your RFQ.

There are many reasons for the reason why your RFQ can’t be found on Ecokara:
1, Your RFQ has not approved or it is in status of pending approval
2, Your RFQ has just been approved and it need about 24 hours to be posted on Alibaba.com
3, Your RFQ has been expired.
4, There are too many related RFQ and you are unable to find your one in the website.
Therefore, please sign into your RFQ list to have a check the status.

There are two methods for you to check the payment failure reason for your Trade Assurance order:

*Note: It is only applicable to online payment methods such like credit/debit card, online bank payment, online transfer, paylater.

Method 1: You could find the payment failure reason on payment result page after you making the payment as below.

Method 2: Go to My Alibaba-Order –All orders, find the order and click ”view more” to go to the order detail page, then click “Payment Records” to get specific information about payment failure.

The Message Center supports the following types of attachments: jpg, jepg, png, gif, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pt, pptx, pdf.

Currently, you cannot reject quotations. However, you can rate every quotation that you receive in Manage RFQ.

Yes. We value your privacy as much as you do. That is why we have provided you with a flexible set of options for protecting your information.

Log in your account at My Ecokara – Account Settings – Privacy Settings, you can choose to share your contact information with suppliers you’ve exchanged business card with.

If your RFQ has been approved and has not yet received any quotations, you can attach a photo by clicking ‘Edit’ and then ‘Add Attachments’

If your approved RFQ has already expired, simply re-post the request with the attached photo.

You can re-post an RFQ when its status is Approved or Closed. Here are the steps:

1. Sign in to My Ecokara and go to Message Center;

2. Select the RFQ you want to re-post

3. Click ‘Post Again’ button at the upper right corner of the RFQ detail page 

If you do not want to receive emails from a supplier, please add his email address to the blacklist and system will block his email.

Log in your account, go to Contacts, find the supplier to block and click ‘Add to Blocklist‘. And you will not receive his email any more.

An RFQ (Buying Request) is a purchase request posted by a buyer to request quotes from suppliers.

You can post all detailed information of the product wanted in a buying request, and there’s high possibility that the supplier quotes you the exact items you wanted.

Ecokara also has one-to-one industry specialists to match your request with the supplier, and review quotations before sending to buyers.

And it is time saving compared to you searching products directly.

Upon posting, suppliers will be able to view and respond to your RFQ and you can check their quotations in the RFQ section in My Ecokara.

RFQ is short for Request for Quotation which helps you find the right suppliers. Submit an RFQ tells suppliers what you are looking for exactly and you might receive quotes from suppliers.

You can sort your messages in different ways, such as sorting by order status, Flags, Date or if it is sent through Trade Manager.

Please refer to below 4 buttons for the sort information.

To get an accurate quote, click Get Latest Price on the product detail page and send an inquiry to the supplier.

You can also tick the box titled Get the best quotes from verified suppliers so other suppliers will send more quotations to you.

Please note that some suppliers will show their Response Rate but some will not. If the supplier has displayed their Response Rate, you can find it as below:

1. In the suppliers tab of the searching result page.

2. On the right-hand side of the product searching result list page.

3. On the supplier’s minisite, click Buyer Interactions under Company Profile or go to the Contacts page to see the Response Rate.

1. Find the RFQ you are interested in and click ‘Messages.

2. To contact a supplier, apply any one of the tools listed on the left-hand side of a quotation, such as Ecokara Trade Manager, Message Center, E-mail or a Phone.

You can view your inquiries, RFQs, and quotations in Buying Leads page.

Please follow below steps to block contacts in My Contacts.

1. Go to Customer-My Contacts.

2. Select the contact you want to block, then click “Add to Blocklist

How to access the Web Trade Messenger:

You can use Trade Messenger to find suppliers on Alibaba.com. You can click “contact supplier” to send an inquiry or click “chat now” to start real-time communication.

Web Trade Messenger

Web Trade Messenger allows you to instantly communicate with suppliers. You can view your entire chat history within the last 365 days.

Web Trade Messenger is automatically launched when you click “Chat Now”.

Message Center

Messages Center is a communication management portal that gives you an easy and efficient way to track your messages on Ecokara.

You can also use Message Center to manage your inquiries, quotations and orders with suppliers all in one place.

Trade Messenger for Desktop

You can add Trade Messenger for Desktop to your home screen and receive message notifications instantly without opening your browser.

Click the link with Chrome browser, and ensure that chrome is the latest version (V76 or above).

 

In order to receive replies from suppliers instantly, we suggest downloading Ecokara App. You can utilize the real-time translation and video chat
features (only available for US-based buyers and China-based suppliers) to make your communication easier.

Please provide below information to our service mailbox …… with subject “Report suspicious buying requests“.

We will investigate and deal with it accordingly in 3 working days.

1.URLs of buying requests posted by suspicious members.

2.You tipped-off contents, reasons or clues.

 

Kindly Reminder : Please make sure all above information were provided fully and as required, so that we can help in time.

If the supplier sent you a quotation but has not contacted you, we suggest you contact the supplier directly at the quotations’ detail page as below:

1.Click “Chat Now” to talk with the supplier in a real time via TradeManager;

2.Click on the supplier’s company name and then visit the supplier website,

you may see the supplier’s contact information like phone number or email address;

3.Click “Show more” to see if there are more contact information.

Yes, you can only send up to 50 email invites each time.

The maximum size for a single attachment is 10MB.

Please be advised that the quotations are sent by suppliers instead of by Alibaba.com. If you get very few or no quotations, please take below steps:

1. Search for the product you want to buy on our home page www.alibaba.com and contact suppliers proactively.
2. You may optimize your RFQ by adding more detailed sourcing information like color, model, function, etc. which could help suppliers understand your requirements. The more information you provided, the more suppliers will be attracted to send you quotations.

RFQs can only be used for one product at a time. If you want to buy multiple products, please simply post a RFQ for each product.

Inquiry:

Please note that different products require different MOQs on Ecokara. 

Therefore, if you want to know the MOQ for your RFQ, you can search for related products on Ecokara to have a reference of the MOQs for similar orders.

RFQ cannot be deleted but can be closed, if you do not want to get any quotations for your RFQ, please go to Buying Leads page – My RFQs to close your Buying Request.

These are suppliers who are recommended based on your trading activity in the last 24 hours.

Sign in My Alibaba Message Center;

Click the drop down button and switch to RFQ, and then you will find the RFQ and the quotations if you received any.

If your RFQ was rejected, please follow below steps to check the reason:

1. Sign into Message Center and refine “RFQ” 

2. Find the RFQ you want to check, click “Edit” button to check the reason on top of the page. Please modify your RFQ accordingly to get it approved.

 

Applying:

You may log into My Contacts directly or go to My Alibaba – Contacts – My Contacts as below to manage your contacts.

If you are having trouble sending messages, check to see if an error message is displayed. Here are some additional tips for messaging errors:

Nothing happens when I click “Send” or “Submit”
Please change to another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Fire fox Try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache.

Instructions for clearing cookies and cache can be found here.
Entering Chinese characters
When you are sending messages using the “Contact Supplier” button, the system may inform you that Chinese characters are not supported.

If this is the case, do not enter Chinese characters.

If you still cannot send messages after trying steps above, please contact Alibaba.com Customer Service.

Please follow below steps to send inquiry for interested products:

1. Click Contact Supplier button on the product detail page.

2. Specify the information which you want to check, such as product price, shipping cost, delivery time etc.

Then click Send inquiry now.

You could manage and organize your conversations on both mobile app and web messenger:

1. Pin to top / Mute / block / delete /archive the conversation

2. Search specific messages

3. Label conversations

4. Quick filter

Every message that you send is listed as an inquiry conversation.

You can sign into the Message Center to view the messages you have sent to the supplier.

Ecokara will send you a notification email when you receive a new message from a supplier.

You can also check your received messages in Message Center. 

Simply sign in to Messages & Contacts to check all the messages that have been sent to you.

You can add a maximum of 20 inquiries to the Inquiry Cart.

Please follow below steps to customize the product online:

Step 1: Find the product which support online customization, and click “Customize Now” on product detail page.

Step 2: Fill all customization details such as color, size, printing etc. You could check the 3D on left side. After all details be confirmed, click “Contact Supplier” to send the inquiry.

 

The Message Center supports the following types of attachments: jpg, jepg, png, gif, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pt, pptx, pdf.

Your supplier need to pay a service charge of 1% if they are shipping the order through Alibaba logistics, and 2% if shipping through a third-party vendor.

The service charge will be capped at US $100.

b. Orders more than US $5000
Although the supplier will not be charged a service fee, they must use OneTouch as the customs clearance agency to complete the order.

Note: If you were charged more than the pricings listed above, please check if your bank has charged you extra service fees for the transaction.

Monthly fee rates vary between 0.25% – 2.75% based on the creditworthiness of the business and the business information collected from accounts linked to the application. On a 6-month term,

the monthly fee rate will range between 1.25% – 2.75% (per month) for the first 2 months and will drop to 0.25% – 0.75% (per month) for the last 4 months of the term. The monthly fee will equal to the principal loan amount multiplied by the monthly fee rate. Monthly fees are charged each month that you have a balance on a particular loan.

Based on the monthly fee ranges, APRs for Kabbage loans under the Pay Later program will be under 30%.

For Trade Assurance orders, you must make payment to the supplier’s Citibank account designated by Ecokara by going to the local banks or through online banking system (if Internet banking service available).

After payment, the funds will reach the supplier’s account within 3-7 business days.

Once received, the supplier needs to link the payment to the order and then order status changes to “waiting for supplier to ship order”.

1) T/T beneficiary account number cannot be recognized
Go to “order details” > “payment details” to check the suppliers beneficiary account information.

Make a note of this number and then proceed to your local bank to make the wire transfer, or make the transfer online if the online banking service is available.

2) The swift code cannot be recognized
Use the swift code CITIHKHX or CITIHKHXXXX when making your payment, either is okay.

For the beneficiary bank, choose Citibank, N.A., Hong Kong Branch, instead of CITI BANK HONGKONG BRANCH.

3) The contact address of the beneficiary is required
The beneficiary is the supplier, contact your supplier directly to get their address.

4) There is no T/T payment option on the payment page
T/T payments can only be made offline.

Please note down the beneficiary bank account information and go to your local bank to make the wire transfer.

5) Routing number is required
The BSB number is usually the same as the swift code. If the swift code doesn’t work, enter N/A as the BSB number.

6) IBAN code is required

Online Transfer is a third-party payment transfer method offered specially for European buyers.

Buyers can make payment online via their bank accounts in local currencies through in total eight different payment channels:

iDeal, Sofort, Trustly, Giropay, PayU, P24, Bancontact and EPS.

Limitations for Western Union payment are as below:

1. Western Union payment accepts USD only.

2. Currently Western Union payment only available for buyers from United States.

2. On the Checkout page, please select ‘Wire Transfer-T/T‘ and the beneficiary bank account type (Internation transfer in USD or Domestic transfer in local currency), then click ‘View Account Information‘ to check the beneficiary bank account information which is designated by Ecokara.

Note: For T/T payment method, your order will be covered by Ecokara Trade Assurance ONLY when you send payment to supplier’s designated beneficiary bank account displayed on Ecokara Checkout page.

Sofort Direct Banking (also known as Pay now with Klarna) is a popular service which allows you to make a fast and easy payment of your online purchases using your online banking details.

A letter of credit is a contract among four parties: the buyer and their issuing bank, the seller and its negotiating bank. Here’s how a letter of credit works:

1. The buyer asks their supplier if they can pay by way of a letter of credit; The buyer and seller agree to payment terms and sign a contract.

2. The buyer selects a credit facility and applies for a letter of credit from their issuing bank.

3. The issuing bank issues a letter of credit to the seller’s designated bank, guaranteeing that the payment will be made once the documents have been provided and approved.

This includes both clean documents per L/C clauses, and documents with discrepancies that the buyer has accepted.

4. The seller’s designated bank notifies the seller that the letter of credit has been received.

5. The seller creates the order for the buyer and ships the goods pursuant to such order.

6. The seller presents documents to its negotiating bank that prove the L/C order has been fulfilled.

7. The negotiating bank reviews the documents and sends them to the buyer’s issuing bank.

8. The buyer’s issuing bank makes the payment (for sight L/C)/or acceptance (for usance L/C), to the negotiating bank after checking and accepting the documents.

The documents will then be released to the buyer once the buyer pays (for sight L/C) or promises to pay later (for usance L/C) to the issuing bank.

If there is any discrepancy in the documents, the buyer’s issuing bank will refuse to pay, subject to the further decision of the buyer.

9. The negotiating bank release the payment to the seller once they have received the funds from the buyer’s issuing bank.

Ecokara will not deduct any payment from your account if you paid with failure.

In case of any payment be deducted from your account, it might be with your paying bank and normally it will be returned within 2-4 business days (The time varies from different banks).

You are suggested to check further with your paying bank.

“Pay the Balance” button will not show until Initial Payment is received.

The operation of ‘Pay the Balance’ is just the same as that of initial payment.

5.Western Union Transaction fee details

After you pay, the time required for payment clearing and settlement varies by payment method.

If you paid with Credit Card: Payment arrives in 1-2 hours after payment success and check pass from Aug.2, 2018 onwards.

If you paid with Online Bank Payment (Formerly known as e-Checking): Payment arrives in 4-5 working days after payment success and authorization in USD, and in 9-10 working days in EUR.

If you paid with T/T (Telegraphic Transfer): After paid by T/T, it takes 3-7 working days to reach the supplier’s account for international transfer (Account number start with 1030/1029), and 1-2 working days for domestic transfer. After the payment is received, the supplier needs to link the payment to the trade assurance order, and the order status will be updated as a result.

If you paid with Western Union: Payment arrives in 1 working day.

If you paid with Boleto: Payment arrives in 2-4 working days.

If you paid with Pay Later: Payment arrives in 1-3 working days after the loan agreement is completed.

If you paid with Online Transfer: Payment arrives in 1-3 working days.

How can I pay the total amount at one time for Trade Assurance order?

There are two methods to pay the order total amount at one time for Trade Assurance order.

Method 1: Set the order total amount as initial payment (balance payment=0) when placing order or modifying it, and you can make payment at one time via credit card, T/T, Online Bank Payment, etc.

Method 2: Pay the full amount via T/T, even though the contract divides into initial payment and balance. After money arrived, it will be divided into two amounts automatically.

Inspection:

Step 1: After adding the Inspection Service to your order, go to My Ecokara > Order management > Order details.

Step 2: Click “Make Payment” to make your payment.

Yes, you can add Inspection Service after the initial payment of a Trade Assurance order in the event that you have obtained consent from the supplier and booked the service at least 7 working days before shipment.

1. The inspection company will notify the buyer and the seller via email after receiving the inspection request.

2. The seller provides an appointment application form and other materials to schedule an appointment for the on-site check.

3. If there are special inspection requirements, the buyer can reply to the inspection email with their requirements included.

4. The inspector will perform the on-site inspection according to the scheduled appointment time. (Note: The seller must have at least 80% of the products finished and packaged before the goods are inspected.)

5. The inspection company issues the inspection report.

6. The buyer can view or download the inspection report online.

1. If the inspection report shows a pending status, you can view the pending results and decide if the identified points are acceptable and can proceed to shipment.

2. If the inspection report shows a failed status, you can review the documents and negotiate with the supplier on the relevant production issues or product replacement or request for a new inspection to be carried out to ensure the product quality is acceptable for shipment.

Inspection company receives an inspection task.

If you paid for value-added service using a credit card after making the initial payment for your Trade Assurance order, we will automatically refund the service fee to your paying card upon service cancellation.

Refunds typically take around 7 working days, which depends on the processing speed of the issuing bank.

If you paid for value-added service with the initial payment for your Trade Assurance order, the refund of service fee can be received through the following methods upon service cancellation:
– If you have not completed payment for the Trade Assurance order, simply contact your supplier to modify the pending payment amount by deducting the service fee.
– If you have completed payment for the Trade Assurance order, simply apply for a refund from your supplier.

Currently we cooperated with two inspection companies for Trade Assurance order. One is Bureau Veritas (BV), the other is China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC).

The buyer emails the inspection company to notify them of any specific requirements for the check.

The seller provides the inspection company with an appointment application form for the on-site check.

Step 1: Place an order for the Inspection Service

Currently, the inspection service can only be added to a Trade Assurance order. There are several methods to add an inspection to your order.

Method 1: Ask the supplier to add the service when they draft the Trade Assurance order.

Method 2: The buyer can also add the inspection service when the Trade Assurance order is being drafted on the order management page.

Method 3: Before shipment, the buyer can also add the service on the order details page, and pay the inspection fee separately.

You will need to obtain agreement from the supplier, and book the service at least seven working days before shipment.

All regions within mainland China, except Chongqing, Gansu, Guizhou, Hainan, Henan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Neimenggu (Inner Mongolia), Ningxia, Qinghai, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Xizang (Tibet).

If you want to return the products, please choose “Yes, I want to return the goods” when you open the dispute.

When creating a case, please select “yes, I want to return the goods.

” Once you have reached an agreement with your supplier, arrange the returning of the goods, and upload the return information within 15 days.

If this is not done within 15 days the case will be canceled automatically.

After you have uploaded the return information, and the seller has confirmed receipt, Alibaba will arrange the payment within seven working days.

Note: The return and refund process can not be cancelled or modified manually. Please confirm before reaching agreement.

 

For offline order:

You will need to contact your supplier directly to negotiate returning goods, including shipping costs and methods.

(1)When you fill the description, please do NOT use special characters such as “/ ‘ ~ $ &” or multilanguage, only English words are supported.
(2)Please make sure your network works well when upload the evidences on the complaint page.

When you find the page shows as below that means your files have been uploaded.

Instead, if you find the page shows as below, that means the files do not complete uploading.

Please wait for a while first. If there is no update for a long time, please copy the information you have filled, refresh the page and upload the file one by one again.

Ecokara generally processes payments within 3 working days once an agreement has been reached.

The time it takes for the payment to reach your account depends on your payment method.

Based on your order types, there are two kinds of dispute on Alibaba.com currently:

1. After the buyer submits dispute, you two parties have 3 to 30 days to negotiate without the involvement of Ecokara.

If the supplier provide different proposal, you could request Ecokara’s assistance by clicking the “Escalate Dispute” button, or may continue to negotiate with the seller.

If no response from the supplier, then you could escalate the case from the 4th day.

Please go to the supplier’s minisite, “company profile” > “business performance” > “ratings & reviews”, to see all feedback.

Sorry that currently the feedback can not be deleted. You can modify the review only once within 30 days of submitting it.

Please follow below steps to leave feedback for your Trade Assurance order:

1. Go to “Orders” > “all orders.” Filter the order type by completed, find the order you would like to leave feedback for and click “write a review.”

2. Fill in the form and then click “submit.”

You can also view all of your feedback and replies from suppliers by going to “orders” > “Reviews.”

Note:
a)
Do not leave feedback that is irrelevant to the business or that violates personal privacy or your review may be rejected.

If the supplier rates the review made by buyer as irrational and unjust, he can appeal for deleting feedback by Ecokara in the situations below:

1) the order review has some prohibited messages against laws or against Ecokara posting policy, abuse, discrimination, leak of other people’s privacy or trade secrets, porn info or meaningless message.

2)before buyer makes negative feedback, he threatens seller in communication tools for extra discount, presents, refund, service and other irrational requests, or buyer asks seller for the benefits mentioned above before deleting/modifying review after submission. In the later case, supplier need to provide chat or email record as proof to appeal for order review.

3)buyer uses abuse and personal attach related languages in conversation which is prohibited by Alibaba, or threatens to feedback negatively. In this case, supplier need to provide chat or email record as proof to appeal for order review.

Please follow steps here to modify your feedback for Trade Assurance order:

1. Go to “Orders”- “My Reviews

2. Click “reviewed” > “modify review” to change your feedback.

Note:
You can only modify your feedback once within 30 days of submitting it.

Photo Bank enables you to store photos for future use in displaying products on Alibaba.com.
1. If you delete the photos in the photo bank, which have already been used in “Product Details” section, they will not be shown.
2. If you delete the photos in the photo bank, which have already been used in “Product Photo” section, they will still be shown.

Groups in Photo Bank
Photo Bank allows you to arrange photos in various groups, which will save your time in uploading suitable photos for different products.
You could click “+” to add groups and when you put the mouse on the group name, the edit and delete icon will be shown.

Note:
1. In total, you can create up to 125,000 groups, which could be arranged in 3 vertical layers. Up to 50 sub-groups can be added to each group.
2. Once a group is deleted, all sub-groups under it will also be deleted. All photos in the group, including those in the sub-groups will be moved to “Ungrouped Photos”.

For free members, the default space in Photo Bank is 10M, and 5G for Gold Suppliers.

2. Pictures are very important for buyers. Research shows that buyers prefer high definition pictures of real products because they help them understand your products and make purchase decisions.
3. A clear and nice layout helps attract buyers’ attention and trust. Detailed Description section should be displaying your products with not only text, but also pictures, charts, company capacity etc.
4. Pictures stolen from other suppliers are strictly forbidden on Alibaba. It not only hurts buyers’ trust in you, but will also bring penalty to your account.
5. Avoid repetition. Product Names such as “wedding dress, fashion wedding dress, design wedding dress” are considered as repetition and not good for product ranking or buyer preference.
6. Focus promotion on competitive products.
